  My brother claims this is the best Dominican spot in Washington Heights. I'll have to say, it did not disappoint. The restaurant is known for their steaks and oxtail soup. Combine it with rice, plantains and beans and your taste buds are in heaven. I highly recommend this place if your nearby. The prices are extremely reasonable as well. $40 for the steak, rice, plantains, beans, oxtail soup, and bread.

  I would give zero starts if possible, Very disappointed in my experience. I have been to this place before with no issues. Today, after waiting 15mins, our waitress Patricia arrived with an extremely bad attitude, threw utensils on the table and proceeded to take our order in a rush. After waiting an additional 15mins, she brought our juices out in plastic cups and a pitcher of water with a stack of cups for us to serve ourselves. We understood the restaurant was busy but there was no apologizing. All the tables around us had their table set and their drinks in a glass cup.
  After waiting patiently for the food (about an hour), she threw the plates on the table without completing the orders, it was about 10 mins before the entire table received their food. My lemon chicken was salty and when I complained about the service and food Patricia stated "it is not her fault because she didn't cook the meal". After I complained and asked for a manager, I was told the manager will be arriving shortly, she never did. Patricia decided to discontinue servicing our table after i asked for the manager and we had to seek another waitress. No one offered me a meal replacement for the salty food, we asked Patricia for ketchup and it was never provided. I was told that the manager who was meant to be on duty was named Suriel.
  The service was horrible and the way the situation was handled was worst. I am extremely disappointed.

  First things first. The food is overly expensive for it to taste subpar. My boyfriend and I went at approximately 12ish pm and you you would think that there would be lunch specials at that time. The answer is no there were no lunch specials at that time and the food was atrocious. My boyfriend ordered skirt steak well done and I ordered boneless fried chicken with rice and beans. The rice was under cooked , the chicken was not cooked all the way. Aswell as my bf steak was also burnt to the point of no reason. Dont waste your coins here .

  Thanks to the so hard-to-chew medium well steak, my chin was so sore after I ate half of it. Overall the food are so dry.

  Service wasn't great but it was alright. The food definitely makes up for it. Their white rice is so yummy and their beans are delicious too! I stick to their classic churrasco and it was delicious and juicy. Their drink menu could be a lot better too but it's more about the food here.
